For those of you who can't get enough room shaking bass we designed
three different sizes of ThunderBlock subwoofers for that
"chest thud" some of us crave. There is a 10-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch
version all powered with a super efficient 500-watt amplifier.
The ThunderBlock is a dual chamber bandpass design with
the woofer mounted horizontally on an internal one-inch thick shelf.
The lower sealed chamber controls deep bass extension with an extremely
smooth rolloff occurring below the range of human hearing. The upper
chamber is vented out the back of the cabinet with a precisely tuned,
double flair ended port. This chamber provides a correctly placed upper
end rolloff to ensure no high frequencies are produced above the
specified range of the LFE channel. The result is extremely well
controlled, ultimately deep bass.

ThunderBlock-10 -12 -15 All three subwoofers of the ThunderBlock Series use the same super efficient 500-watt amplifier to drive their respective 10", 12" or 15" woofer. This amp also incorporates a parametric equilizer for optimum room tuning.
The bass response of the ThunderBlock is ruler flat
with very smooth rolloffs at both ends. Most subwoofers on the
market today produce only a very localized "boom" at about 35Hz,
then drastically fall off below that frequency. "Where's the
Real Bass?".
The ThunderBlock produces a near perfect response
to a room shaking depth far below the ordinary. The quality of
these subwoofers is unmatched by other products costing three
times as much!
